I hope this gives you a few new recipes to choose from! Besides my wonderful THM blogging friends, YOUR THM BOOK has many great recipes that are truly budget friendly. I frequently go back through the recipes and try something new. There are so many recipes in there that..after two years..I've still not tried them all! Here are just a handful of budget friendly favs:
- Loaded Fotato Soup (page 294)
- Chana Dahl Soup (page 311)
- Chili (page 328 or 329)
- Kai Si Ming (page 331)
- Waldorf Salad (page 300) Double or triple for the whole family!
- Trim Healthy Pancakes (page 223)
There are many great, easy meals to try. You can do THM on a budget...YOU CAN! I am so excited that Aldi's now carries so many organics and foods that are THM approved. You can get a good price on Greek Yogurt, Cottage Cheese, Stevia, Veggies, Fruits, wild-caught Salmon, cheese, unsweetened almond milk, nuts, 85% chocolate and much more! You can find great deals at Costo and Sam's as well. Buying in bulk can often help you save a pretty penny. Just make a list, take your time and start with easy recipes. You will get the hang of it in a jiffy! You can find Part 2 of my Budget Friendly meals here.
