Three weeks have flown by, but Shan is still working the plan and doing great!  I am so very proud of him and how he's sticking with it. He's survived his favorite buffet, Der Dutchman and a road trip to Chicago.  He's got more energy too! I hope your guy is following along and gearing up for the THM Man Challenge!  We are excited to get it going and for some fella to win a brand new gas grill worth $200.  Don't fret if you live out of the U.S.A.!  If you are the winner, we will send you a $200 gift certificate to Amazon.  You can buy a grill on your own or whatever you please.  Details on for the Man Challenge will be given in the coming week. So, after a less than perfect week, Shan has lost 2 pounds!  I'd say that's a nice accomplishment.  In the past three weeks he has lost a total of 11 pounds! shanweek3 SHAN'S 3RD WEEK ON THM: Wednesday, June 15th- Day 15

  • Dinner- 6 jr. size hamburger patties with onion, pickles and mustard. One had cheese on it as well. (Wendy's) (S) These patties are very small...so don't think BIG burgers.

Friday, June 17th- Day 17 (on the road)

Saturday, June 18th- Day 18
  • Breakfast: Beef sticks, cheese and pork rinds. (S)  We were on the road and this is hilarious after the fact, but he was on plan!  Ha!

  • Dinner: 2 hotdogs, brat, some bacon and raw veggies (cucumbers, green peppers) with some ranch.  We grilled all the meats that night and bacon on the grill is so good! (S)
Sunday, June 19th- Day 19
  • Breakfast:  Bacon and eggs. (S)
  • Lunch: Potluck at church. We both ate mostly meat and veggies. There were hotdogs, brats, burgers, salads to choose from for us. A THM buddy made a wonderful on plan cake that I may beg her to let me post. So good! (S)
  • Dinner: Shan had 1 pound of grilled chicken chunks and a side salad with ranch. He ate a few pizza toppings too.  (S)

  • Dinner: Lazy Lasagna on page 140. (S)
Tuesday, June 21st- Day 21
  • Breakfast: eggs and bacon (S)
  • Lunch: big salad with grilled chicken, peppers, onions and ranch dressing (S)
  • Dinner: roast, cauli-mash and green beans. (S)
This week held it's challenges, but I think he did fairly well.  He spent 3 days straight on the road and ate all S meals.  I think that's pretty good considering.  He did have one meal that would be considered by most as "off plan" with the hash browns.  He said there weren't many and he was so hungry after the tiny omelet they served him that he knew he needed to eat it or he'd be starving. We are loving summer!  We are using our grill a lot.  It keeps the house cooler by not using the oven so much and our electric bill is a bit lower.  We stick with a more basic plan and use barely any special ingredients.  Shan definitely needed more "E" meals, but I'm glad he got three in!  With a less hectic schedule this week, I can make sure he's got more on his plate. Thanks for cheering him on!  You can read his Week 1 and Week 2 results and menus as well if you missed them. *This post may contain affiliate links.  This will cost you nothing extra, but helps us keep our website going.

YAHOOOOO!!! That is fantastic Shan – keep up the awesome work. By the way, I really think your wife is awesome even though we have never met. She has been such an inspiration to me in my own THM journey.
